January 26, 2017: Arriving in Bodhgaya after a day-long bus ride, and checking into our hotel, we proceeded to the Mahabodi Temple, a pilgrimage site that celebrates the place where the Buddha achieved enlightenment after sitting for a long time under the Bodhi Tree (parts of which are seen in photos 4 and 6).
