Our Papua New Guinea tour on the Sepik River and its tributaries on August 9, 2019 yielded many diverse photo opportunities, too many to be accommodated in a single post. Therefore, I'll be making several posts from the day's excursion, starting with this group on the Black Water Lakes. The water level was very low, so that our boat couldn't go everywhere we wanted; but that led to striking images of partially submerged trees, some with roosting cormorants.
