Yesterday (April 10 by the Australian calendar) we flew from Sydney to Hobart, the capitol city of the Australian island state of Tasmania. We'll be in Hobart for three days, then another week touring the rest of the island. Hobart is quite attractive, with a laid-back, food- and arts-friendly vibe reminiscent of Portland.
