The next day in Santiago we hired a Tours by Locals guide to take us to some interesting places. First was the Municipal Park, which commands sweeping views of the growing city (with notable air pollution) in its broad, flat valley.
The Park has areas of attractive indigenous vegetation and (last photo) a Japanese Garden.
