In the afternoon our guide took us for lunch and a tour at the large, attractive Haras de Pirque winery in the Maipo Valley - a center of Chile's winemaking industry. Both the food and the wine were first-rate.
The wall of the lunch room is decorated with mementos of the famous race horse for whom the winery is named.
