The Tallest Building in the World

That's the Burj Khalifa in Dubai. 828 meters high (slightly more than 1/2 mile); 154 floors, of which 124, 125, and 148 are accessible to the public. They say that you can look at sunset from ground level, then go to the top and look at it all over again.

If you've ever wondered what an elevator console for a building with that many floors looks like, here it is.

You have to pay extra to skip the line and go to the 148th floor, but we figured it was worth it. It was - amazing views in all directions. This one looks down onto a massive highway interchange in the center of Dubai, and numerous very tall buildings.
