Scenic Walk in Darwin

May 11, 2018: A day to explore Darwin, before flying to Sydney tomorrow. On our way to the museum, we walked down the Esplanade past Burnett House on Myilly Point, a historic building that survived Japanese bombing in WWII and the 1974 Darwin Cyclone thanks to its innovative design. We then continued down to Mindil Beach, walking through the George Brown Darwin Botanic Gardens. A good start to a pleasant, relaxing day.
