Dublin Details

We did a lot of sightseeing today in Dublin: Kilmainham Gaol (where the Irish rebels were imprisoned and some executed), Guiness Storehouse (kind of like a Harry Potter museum), Hugh Lane Gallery (good small collection of 19th and 20th century painting), Dublin Writers Museum, and a several-hour bus tour of the whole city. Here is one photo from each of the first three. More will come later.

Francis Bacon's studio, moved from London to the Hugh Lane Gallery after his death.
An incredible mess: Some 7000 items, all catalogued and entered in a publicly accessible database!
