Cotswolds near Cirencester

May 22: Another beautiful day for walking in the Cotswolds, this time near the Bathurst Estate and the city of Cirencester.

A walk through fields of canola rapeseed and wheat.

Passing by a horse polo complex: bringing a horse to the field, exercising a group, and viewing the viewing stands where Prince Charles and Prince William, among others, view the games.

A group of solders being led through a conditioning march.

Column in the middle of the Bathurst Estate erected at the suggestion of Alexander Pope.

Details of two exhibits from Roman times in the Corinium Museum in Cirencester.
