The other thing we wanted to see in Nagano, after the cherry blossoms, was the snow monkeys. It was April, not even close to winter snow, and these are macaques, not monkeys, but they were still fun to watch and photograph. Today's photos are of the forested approach to the monkey area (they live in the forest, and are attracted to the exhibit area by regular feedings.) Actual macaques start tomorrow.
