We wandered into the Metropolitan Cathedral on the Zocalo. Officially "The Metropolitan Cathedral of the Assumption of the Most Blessed Virgin Mary into Heaven is the cathedral church of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Mexico." (Wikipedia). It's a remarkable mix of Renaissance, Baroque, and Neoclassical styles.
