Silver Falls Waterfalls

We've been trying to get out of the house a bit more, and having gotten a new (small, 12 v) battery for our 2005 Toyota Prius (an unexpectedly difficult and prolonged process), we've begun to drive to some places beyond walking distance. One is Silver Falls State Park. From Wikipedia:

"Silver Falls State Park is a state park in the U.S. state of Oregon, located near Silverton, about 20 miles east-southeast of Salem. It is the largest state park in Oregon with an area of more than 9,000 acres, and it includes more than 24 miles of walking trails, 14 miles of horse trails, and a 4-mile bike path."

For the next few days I'll be posting photos featuring some of the scenic features of the park, starting with the falls.
