Smoke over Portland

As you've probably heard, Portland today has the worst air quality of any major city in the world, due to fires some 30 miles to the south. I took these photos about 12:30 this afternoon, looking south from the NW Broadway Bridge to the N Steel Bridge over the Willamette River. It's a distance of about half a mile, and is usually totally clear. Today the scene reminds me of Monet's paintings of the Houses of Parliament in London.
