On our second day in Lima, Peru, we engaged a Tours by Locals guide to take us to some places that he deemed worthy but that we, as casual visitors, might not be aware of, and were not within walking distance of our hotel. This and the next few blogs will show some of these sites, beginning with the National Museum of Peru. A relatively new museum, with interesting but not spectacularly picturesque holdings.
