Once the turbulence on the flight from Windhoek to Sossusvlei had subsided, I was able to hold my camera steady enough to take some photos out the Beechcraft window. The combination of mountainous and desert geology and the afternoon light made for some striking images. Reminiscent of Death Valley, which we visited a few months ago.
