One of our favorite places in Hawaii is the Hawaiian Tropical Botanical Garden, a 40-acre foundation-operated garden on an old sugar plantation about seven miles north of Hilo. We spent several pleasant hours there on Monday, taking lots of photos that I'll post over the next few days. I'll start with some dramatic reds.
