We took a drive a few weeks ago to the small Oregon town of Vernonia, about 30 miles from Portland, where our granddaughter has been making a film based on Alice in Wonderland. (Wait until tomorrow.) We didn't know about this lake, but it was quite pretty and pleasant to walk around.
