Yesterday on Cradle Mountain in Tasmania, we had wintry weather - cold rain, sleet, snow, high winds - that made us cancel plans for a hike around Dove Lake. It also shut down the wi-fi at Cradle Mountain Hotel. However, we did go to Devils@Cradle, a wildlife park that maintains breeding stocks of Tasmanian devils (top two) and quolls, the only two carnivorous marsupials on the planet. I couldn't post these photos yesterday, but I'm catching up today from Launceston, where we finally have decent wi-fi.
