This is certainly the high-class way to explore the world. Zodiac down the Amazon, then back to the ship for a good dinner and a good sleep, then back out in a zodiac to see a new aspect of the Anazon.

Amazon River Villages

As we continued our voyage down the Amazon from Manaus to the Atlantic, we encountered occasional evidence of civilization: boats, houses, villages, cattle... For the next few days, I'll be posting photos of these encounters.

 

The Amazon is a two-toned river

 Part black, part yellow-brown in this part of the river, between Manaus and the Atlantic.
