Portcurno, a small town on the west coast of Cornwall, U.K., was the world center of undersea telegraph operations for 100 years, from 1870 to 1970, including World Wars 1 and 2. The Porthcurno Telegraph Museum tells the story in an attractive, engaging fashion. The first three photos show the artistic display using graphic, colorful representations of Morse code. The last shows a set of relays that actually send and received the signals.
