We're on Hawaii, the Big Island of the State of Hawaii, for our first travel since the pandemic. We drove from near Hilo, where we're staying, to Volcanoes National Park, where the prolonged eruption of Kilauea has ended but the scenes of flowers, ferns, and lava are beautiful and dramatic.
