Valley of the Kings

Luxor has a Valley of the Kings to go with the Valley of the Queens, but nothing compares with the tomb of Nefertari, posted yesterday. The most famous tomb is that of Tutankhamun, but little remains here except his mummified body in a glass case (top photo) and some anterooms. All the fancy stuff is in the museum in Cairo. The other photos below are of decorations from the tombs of Ramses IV and Ramses IX. They're interesting and attractive, but not in such profusion or in such good repair as those from the tomb of Nefertari.
