Today we got up very early to experience a chanting ceremony at Thiksey Monastery near Leh, drove to the large and important Hemis Monastery, and ended at the Nagri Hostel for very poor children from distant parts of Ladakh, who are supported with food, clothing, and housing while they go to school.
