After the relative sparseness of the markets we visited further south along the African coast, this market in Agadir is overwhelming in the profusion of its produce and other goods. The overabundance of things for sale seems to merit an overabundance of photos on this issue of the blog.

A three-day cruise north from the Canary Islands took us to Morocco, where we docked at Agadir. Here are some views of an old fortress, views down to the amazingly busy port, and photos in an argan oil plant where women sort and shell the seeds.
