Dogs and Cat

One passes many people walking their dogs in the Pearl. Cats, not so much, although cats are supposedly more popular pets than dogs. I guess they just don't like to go for walks. So one has to do with grumpy cat posters.

Farmers Market Scenes

Most Saturdays we walk down to the Farmers Market on the campus of Portland State University. It's always colorful, with occasionally an extra surprise.

Mirrors

The parking garages under condos and apartment buildings emerge onto sidewalks and streets, thus need mirrors to avoid accidents. With two driveways side-by-side, there are four mirrors, which leads to some interesting scenes.

String of Pearl's Parks

Portland's Pearl District has a string of three parks, each distinct. The northern two are new within the past couple of years, as the formerly industrial district gets refurbished. From south to north:
