Colorful Eastside Streets

The Central Eastside Industrial District (CEID) in Portland is being redeveloped, but while it maintains its old, somewhat rough character, it's considerably more colorful than the Pearl District on the west side of the river. Some scenes from last year:

There are twelve bridges across the Willamette River in Portland, connecting the west and east sides of the city. Here are views of three of them.

The last in this series of photos from October 2015, perhaps emphasizing more the lines and structures in the landscape, not just the colors.

More fall colors from last year in Forest Park. Photographers are always being told to show only the very best from a series of photos. For landscape photos like these, however, I prefer to think that there are many "bests" - sort of like Monet's series of paintings of haystacks.
