We spent the last nine days of August in Brazil, mainly to see the Pantanal wetlands. It was spectacular, and many days of photos of birds, animals, and scenery will follow on this blog. However, we spent the last day of our trip, September 1, in Sao Paulo, where we enjoyed an immersion in the vivid street art of that city. We were guided by a Tours by a Locals guide, Renato (posing in the first picture below), who is very knowledgeable about the Sao Paulo arts scene. For the next week or so I'll be posting selections from my photos of the streets with their murals, arguably among the best in the world.
