Despite its attractions, we came to Ushuaia as a departure-point for distant, more exotic locations. Here are some scenes back at port, as we reboarded the Silver Explorer for the next weeks of adventures.
In the first and second photos, note the disparity in size between the Silver Explorer at left, an expedition ship with about 150 passengers, and the cruise ship above and behind it, with probably 3000 passengers.
