Our main purpose for visiting New York City was to celebrate the 98th birthday of an aunt, and to see many of the other relatives who live in the New York area and in Europe. We (not including the 98-year-old) assembled on the Lower East Side for brunch, meeting newly-found relatives, and wandering around. While I wouldn't ordinarily post family pictures on this blog, I feel that this photo captures the high spirits of the location and occasion.
