I happened to stumble on a very interesting YouTube interview with the renowned street photographer Joel Meyerowitz, the first of an excellent series entitled FreeStream Masters of Photography, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rw4UIVMa-xE. In it, Meyerowitz describes what he's doing while being forced to spend so much time at home during the pandemic. He shows that shooting varied views and arrangements of still lifes of normal household items can lead to very interesting results. While watching the interview, I was inspired to photograph three variations of a scene that fell immediately to my eye: Meyerowitz speaking and gesturing on my computer monitor, with a photograph on the wall behind of a Myanmar girl looking at our tour group through her schoolyard fence at recess.
