David Alfaro Siquieros, along with Diego Rivera and Jose Orozco, was one of the three great Mexican mural painters of the early 20th century. Siqueros taught for several years in the School of Fine Arts in San Miguel de Allende. Some of the murals that he (and his students?) painted here are relatively traditional (the first three below).
But a great unfinished project is seen in the photos below. It's in a long, narrow, semicylindrical space, and the overall conception seems almost like the scenery for a science fiction opera.
