Just across the street from our hotel in Sapporo was the Botanic Museum run by Hokkaido University. In addition to the trees and plants, there were some interesting old buildings; the top green one was a museum of native birds and animals. We spent an hour there in the morning before going to the airport for our flight back to Tokyo. A nice, relaxing finale to a good trip.
