Bad Times in Coventry

One last post from the very interesting Coventry Transport Museum: Coventry was badly bombed by the Germans in WW2, in large measure because it was England's center of aircraft and military manufacture.

Coventry was rebuilt and became prosperous again after WW2. However, in the 1970s, increasing competition and labor unrest led many car manufacturers to shut their factories and move elsewhere or stop operations entirely.
